I want working with me to feel pretty easy.

You don't have to show up knowing how to pose, what to wear, or exactly what you want your photos to look like. We can figure that stuff out together.

Before your session, we'll talk about what you're looking for, what kind of location you're drawn to, outfits, and any ideas you already have floating around. If you have inspiration, send it over. If you have absolutely no idea what you want, that's okay too.

When we actually get together, we're not going to spend the whole time standing around taking pictures.

We'll walk. We'll talk. We'll probably laugh at how awkward it feels for the first five minutes. We'll find some good light, wander around, and I'll give you things to do instead of just telling you to "smile."

I love the imperfect stuff! The wind blowing your hair everywhere, boots getting dirty, horses not cooperating, running around until you're out of breath, and those little moments where nobody is looking at the camera.

Especially those moments.

I want you to leave your session feeling like you actually did something, not like you spent an hour being photographed.

So bring your favorite people, your dog, your boots, your old truck, your horse, or whatever makes sense for you.

We'll figure out the rest when we get there.
